Events are held at Potterspury Village Hall and cost £5.00 for non-members. There is a discounted fee of £3.00 for Potterspury History Group members, payable at the door.
 
Membership is £5.00 pa
Members receive a regular newsletter and receive invitations to some special events.

WEEDON ROYAL ORDINANCE DEPOT
Doreen Addicott

For 150 years the Depot stored and
supplied everything soldiers needed to fight worldwide. There are
8 storehouses, a canal extension, powder magazines and high walls.
This could be followed by a visit to the Depot for members with a tour, in
June or July, to be arranged.

Tim Skelton

Lutyens designed Potterspury Lodge gatehouse and was involved in the
extension to Potterspury Lodge.

WALTER TULL, FOOTBALLER AND WW1 OFFICER
Graham McKechnie

Walter Tull was only the third person of mixed heritage to
play in the top division of the Football League, including for Northampton
Town. Sadly he was killed in action in March 1918, at the age of 29.

Christmas Social for Members – The date for December has yet to be arranged.

We also hope to arrange a trip for members to ARC at Chester House
Irchester, Northamptonshire’s Archaeological Research Centre, where
we can view the remains of Potterspury pots and see other antiquities
including Roman relics found in our county. There’s a café too!
